I offer you living proof that happiness is a decision, a choice, the result of taking action for your own damn good. Be your own best friend and advance into the happy lane. Happiness IS a choice.

Can you grieve and still experience happiness at the same time? YES YOU CAN. 

If you are waiting on others to *make* you feel better, you’re going to be waiting for a good long time. If you chose to feel better about your life right now, you can begin to feel better immediately.  That’s the good news.  

When you can take responsibility for your own emotions, that means you get to feel however you chose. Taking responsibility for your own emotions means you own not only the good ones, but you also own the uncomfortable ones.

It is 100% okay to feel sad. Just be aware it is a choice you are making. So stop trying to run away from sad. Just know it is a choice you’ve made and allow it. If you do that, sad is not forever. You experience it and then you can move onto another emotion. Move onto an emotion that serves you better. 

By serves you better, I mean it is an emotion that fuels your life – the kind of life you are longing for.  

What is the life you are longing for?  Take the time to think about that. 

You need to know what you want for yourself.   YOU are your #1 priority.  Your future is your #1 priority.  Take care of that and all the rest falls right into place.
