Some may think I “became” a life coach when I went for my certification, but I’ve been life coaching my entire life. It started my first day in kindergarten when I ran around the room trying to console every little kid who was crying. Every job I worked in, I self-coached and reached out to coach others on their thinking that had been holding them back.
It was this coaching that I did in the corporate world that brought me success in every job. It didn’t matter what I was employed as – I was a coach. I couldn’t help but do that. You see, your life’s purpose is not something you find “out there, somewhere.” It has been inside of you all along. We are born with purpose. It is something that is like breathing for you. If I could not coach, I could not breathe.
So if you are wondering what your life’s purpose is, you need to turn inside and discover YOU. Then be more you than you’ve ever been. It is just a matter of finding the courage to open up and step out there to share yourself with others. When you open up, find the courage to explore your own thoughts and beliefs, then it becomes quite clear where your passion lies.
What is it you would be doing, no matter what? It is something you may have actually overlooked all these years because it is as natural to you as breathing. We don’t notice that we are breathing most of the time. It is like that with your purpose. Have you always wanted to help others? Is it just something you instinctively do?
If you’re like me, you’ve always been fascinated with self-help books, psychology, philosophy and even powers of the mind. I can’t believe how much of my life I invested in these things without even noticing that it was indeed my purpose.
That is what the widow coaching class that I teach is all about. I show you how to see inside your own mind and life, and how to reach out and help other widows do the same. Are you ready to cross that bridge?
It’s a challenge when you’ve lost the most important person in your life and you are trying to get around the emotions that constantly fill your life. But that very trauma that has so impacted your world can launch you forward into a new life. Come find out how. http://widowcoaches.com
